Our Story

We have a 13-year-old, an excitable German Shepherd, a lackadaisical mastiff, and a complete love for our work. However our journey into the wedding world was accidental.

Bryan worked as a commercial photographer shooting for wedding brands brands like Calvin Klein, Vera Wang and David’s Bridal. He shot his first wedding as a favor to a client who wanted his nieces wedding to “be recorded like a storybook.”. Then there was a set of bridal portraits for a commercial client who wanted to see what she looked like in her dress. Next, we shot a wedding for a friend as our present to them. We fell in hook, line, and sinker after that; and once we were in, we were all in!

Our business has won several awards including The Knot Best of Wedding (eleven total times and 6 times in a row), Wedding Wire Couples Choice (also eleven total times and 6 times in a row), David’s Bridal Alabama Wedding Photographer of the Year (three of the five years they ran the contest) and Alabama Weddings Magazines 10 Great Photographers. We’ve also been named one of the Top Ten Wedding Photographers in America by the One Eyeland International Competition and one of the 50 Best in the World by Fearless in both 2018 and 2020. Internationally we’ve been recognized by the International Wedding Photographer of the Year Awards twice and the International Society of Professional Photographers six times! We are insanely proud of these distinctions because they are awarded based on our customers’ feedback, or as a result of industry peers giving feedback on their experience working with us.
