Five Things To Bring To Your Getting Ready Room

Iā€™m going to make this one short, sweet and to the point. You guys are so busy with the wedding day that it just makes sense that I help you along with a list of five little things you can use in your getting ready room to create a huge impact in your getting ready pictures.

  1. The Rings And Jewelry. One party should have both of the rings and all jewelry if at all possible. It makes it simple and easy to get yourself some great detail shots.

  2. The Invitations. Keep a copy of your invitations for yourself. If you give them to the person with the rings and the jewelry this allows you to get them documented as part of your wedding photography.

  3. Bouquets/Boutonnieres. As you can see we really like to combine items in our detail shots. It gives the pictures emotional depth and a great feel. So have your flowers delivered to the getting ready suites so we can use them there while they are fresh.

4.A Love Note.Nothing expansive, just a short note, a page or less. You can have the photographer deliver it and then shoot the emotion as your partner reads it. And for bonus points if you have a videographer they can capture you reading it (and vice versa).

5. A Worry Free Attitude Relax a little, Let yourself have some fun and enjoy your moment.
