Three generations waiting for a wedding…
I love all weddings. Like all of them from the biggest to the smallest. Its always just super neat seeing two people become each others person. I also feel this incredible sense of… I don’t know? Obligation, pride, happiness, so many things; knowing that in twenty years some of the photographs I took are the ones they pass on to their children and grandchildren. And I feel this especially for my LGBTQ couples because it was only a little more than a year ago that they didn’t have this right. in our great state of Alabama. And Ashley and Shea were just so profoundly moved and thankful just to be equal that it was truly humbling to behold.
All weddings are a humbling experience but I really felt this one. Equality matters. All people matter. We shouldn’t ever forget that.
